The CII Unicorn Forum organised the CII Unicorn Summit 2026, bringing together founders, industry leaders, policymakers, and investors around the theme “Unicorn 2.0: From Valuation to Value Creation.”
The Summit featured a panel discussion moderated focusing on building sustainable, globally competitive enterprises.

A key highlight was the felicitation of leading Indian startups and unicorns for their contributions to innovation, job creation, and economic growth.

Key addresses by Shri Ateesh Kumar Singh and Mr Kris Gopalakrishnan underscored the importance of policy support, R&D investments, and strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem through collaboration and long-term value creation.

CII White Paper on Unicorn Policy outlines strategic roadmap for value-driven growth in India's startup ecosystem
New Delhi [India], April 28 (ANI): With over 120 unicorns and a combined valuation exceeding USD 390 billion, India's startup sector shows cumulative funding of more than USD 118 billion, according to a White Paper released by the Confederation of Indiian Industry (CII) on Unicorn Policy.
